The Fiber Broadband Association Latam Chapter held the first edition of the year of Fiber Connect Latam 2023 in Santiago, Chile, bringing together more than 500 participants from the telecommunications sector, including operators, ISPs, manufacturers and experts from the continent.

During the event, we distinguished ourselves by participating in the panel “The importance of ISPs for coverage and connectivity in the region” and by our outstanding presence in the exhibition area, where the essence of our company and the innovative, flexible and efficient solutions that we provide to the market were revealed.

Additionally, our FYCO Learning Academy, in collaboration with FBA, offered the FBA Field Expert and FBA Field Operations Expert training and certification programs to more than 30 professionals from Chilean companies such as Patagonia IP, Entel, Wilcom, Bufanet and Arcal, and from other countries such as STS from Bolivia and Luminet from Costa Rica, allowing more and more professionals to meet the existing demand for specialized personnel in the sector.

These were days of interaction and knowledge about the latest trends in the industry. We anticipated the challenges that the global advance of telecommunications brings and we set a path to jointly strengthen the deployment of fiber optics in Latin America.
