Puerto Rico plans important connectivity initiatives
We were part of the first meeting of the year of the Fiber Broadband Association LATAM Chapter held on April 9. This was an important space for networking and training that took place in San Juan, Puerto Rico with the presence of more than 300 representatives of the telecommunications industry on the continent to discuss challenges and opportunities in the growth of connectivity on the island.
Although it was determined that Puerto Rico currently faces limitations in pole and pipeline infrastructure that prevent massive deployments in new areas, the occasion allowed us to exchange ideas with experts and professionals to define strategies and business models that provide even more possibilities to accelerate the growth of fiber optics on the island.
Timely solutions
During the event, we had the opportunity to share with various local operators and internet service providers. This space allowed us to interact more closely with all participants, without distinctions, and to better understand their needs, challenges and expectations in the ever-changing telecommunications landscape.
Once again, we pledge our willingness to support TELCOS in the different phases of their initiatives. This meeting provided us with an invaluable opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the main players in the sector and to make our training, engineering, procurement and financing services available to them.
About Fiber Connect LATAM Puerto Rico Edition
This is the first of three meetings planned for Latin America in 2024. This event combines efforts to encourage investment in telecommunications infrastructure by the public and private sectors on the island, also highlighting the importance of having a team and trained crews to carry out the different initiatives.
