With more than 109,000 attendees from 205 countries, the technology industry's most important event reaffirmed its role as a key benchmark for telecommunications innovation. Barcelona was once again the stage where leaders, experts, and companies debated the future of connectivity. One of the central topics was the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on network management, highlighting its ability to optimize the stability, efficiency, and security of connections. From the automation of data traffic to its application in cybersecurity, AI is redefining the functioning of digital infrastructures.
Emerging technologies are also driving more accessible and higher-quality connectivity. The integration of mobile networks with low-orbit satellites is expanding internet access in rural and low-coverage areas, while Wi-Fi 7 is positioned as a key advancement for improving speed and reducing latency in high-density environments, enhancing the connection experience in hyperconnected homes, businesses, and public spaces.
Our team played a key role in this year's MWC, closely exploring these innovations and connecting with strategic industry players to identify opportunities that strengthen our vision of a more connected world. Through meetings with partners and immersive experiences, we analyzed how AI and other emerging technologies can be integrated into our solutions to continue driving connectivity as a driver of development and transformation. These conversations and lessons learned reaffirm our commitment to more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable connectivity, convinced that technology is key to closing gaps and generating new opportunities in Latin America.
