We celebrated together with major operators and internet providers the second edition of Fiber Connect Latam 2023 in Mexico City, a meeting of the Fiber Broadband Association in Latin America that has been characterized by playing a key role in the knowledge of new technologies and the strengthening of technological innovation in the region.
Our booth featured a live display of Shellbox, demonstrating that its highly resistant modular structure is easy to assemble and install. On this occasion we presented the Kempii and Mydas models inspired by the Lora and Green sea turtles, capable of withstanding up to 10 tons.
Training and learning
This event not only allowed our team to exchange views with important players in the sector through the various participations in the event's panels, but also to offer training from our Fyco Learning academy, which gives technicians and professionals the opportunity to excel in the design and operation of FTTx systems.
Once again, we have confirmed that fiber optic deployments are the way to strengthen technological growth and the well-being of Latin American countries. We continue to work hard towards our goal of facilitating connection in all corners of the continent.
On participation in the panels:
María del Rosario Oviedo, Chief Legal Officer of FYCO, moderated an interesting panel that addressed the opportunities of fiber optics in the growth and transformation of data centers. Likewise, Fredy Pereira, General Manager of Fyco Learning, participated in the panel called “Education as a pillar of FTTH: A look at the new training and certification program of FBA LATAM.”
For his part, our Telecom Manager for Latin America, Pedro Leal, made a special presentation called “Microtechnology: the key to the telecommunications of the future” which included the staging of the easy assembly of Shellbox boxes.
